Notes and photos from nearly two weeks on the road.
Day three we met the Rockies. Grand Teton National Park is amazing. We hiked late in the day and camped at Signal Mountain, the only campground still open for the season.
10.20a packed and leaving. Waking up to sunshine and a view of the mountains is sort of nice.
Stop in Dubois for Wifi and snake river pale ale. fully recommend the Rustic Pine Tavern Bar, but their bathroom stalls don’t have latches. Keep it friendly
3.30a set up camp @ Tetons. off to trails and the convenience store.
6.55p back to Jeep after brutal hike into the Tetons. Wow!
the view was okay.
The drive was clear and gorgeous until the Tetons. Through one of the construction zones, the Jeep became covered in mud. During our hike, we found a smoldering fire. I’m still curious who started it and where they were.
