Day Eleven—Seattle, Washington

We visited the University of Washington – Seattle on day eleven. Well, Fish did. I spent some quality time in a basement, throwing dart with a beer or two.

9a wake. can’t get out of bed.

12.40p leave for lunch before visiting UW campus.

1.15p get pepperjack and bacon on burger @ Burger Place. not bad but fries were better.

2p fly solo into Campus Inn Pub. juke, in a basement and Super old darts. solid time. pseudo-intellectual BS can’t even bring me down.

4.30p “are you all on the class FB? ‘cause I think I friended everyone.”
– Fish looks @ me, unblinking. I laugh. can’t help myself. because it’s come to this. (sick of academia.)

7.15p Nick makes delicious taco dip. I eat too much of it.

9.45p to Ozzie’s for drinks.

Page Twenty of Notes

“Campus Inn Pub” is actually the College Inn Pub and is quite entertaining (extended Happy Hour on Fridays). Their dart boards are too old, though. We had to take the bullseye out of the game.

watching karaoke w/ people you don’t know isn’t that entertaining. plenty of drunks to poke fun @ though.

back and there are delicious chicken tacos. quite good. and then there’s pizza. too much food.

Page Twenty-One of Notes

Ozzie’s is sort of insane, with two floors, each with their own karaoke. I can only watch karaoke so long before it’s more annoying than awesome. Thanks, Phavy, for laughing with me at the company party in front of us. Our group’s (sans myself) spirited rendition of “Your Love” by The Outfield is unrivaled.
